Bonwa Phala Lodge
Bonwa Phala Game Lodge is situated approximately two hours from South Africa’s well-known city of Johannesburg, in the heart of the Malaria-free Limpopo province. The bushveld in this area consists of well-grassed plains, dotted by dense clusters of trees and tall shrubs. In the winter months of the hunting season, the tall grasses turn brown or pale in keeping with the dry season. Bonwa Phala offers an abundance of game, as well as a thriving population of birdlife.
Pienaarsbaken is a charming lodge on a working Karoo farm in the Sneeuberg Mountain Range in the Eastern Cape. The Karoo is a semi-desert region of South Africa that is famous for its natural beauty and open, cloudless skies. Large open plains of grassland with low growing succulents and the beautiful red aloe support a variety of game, including the iconic springbuck. The picturesque little Karoo town of Graaff-Reinet, known as the “gem of the Karoo,” is a mere 50 km away and offers a unique combination of settler history and charm.
